    Yes, I've personally seen the remote used as well. I'd think more new boats are going that way so you can stand where you need to while docking. (Just hope that there is no interference)

    I wonder if they can use the 2.4 gigahertz band for the remotes? This frequency is used on the newer radio control aircraft,boats and cars. They do not interfere with each other.
