  This one is at Glenelg Beach, South Australia. Taken with a friend who is terminally ill who came over to my Father’s funeral earlier in the day 19th Feb.
  
  Long trip to say goodbye but wouldn’t have missed it if I had to swim here.

  Thank you for the kind words guys, I am back, long trip with a lot to do when there.
  
  My dad worked for Cunard Cruise lines back in the early 60’s running between Liverpool and New York and always wanted to go back to sea. They wanted to come here a few years ago and him see New York again but ironically mum couldn't get sign off to fly due to DVT concerns. So I have brought his ashes back where I can get have him back at sea in New York sometime either with a day trip down soon and maybe I’ll just find someone to charter me out for a couple of hours or in the summer making a week long boat trip out of it.

  Yes, sorry for your loss. My aunt was 96 years old when she passed right at 3 years back...I never thought growing up about her losing her dad while young- all the people she lost along the way in the little town here in florida she grew up in- you know- all the birthdays,  holidays with so many you've lost that are missed- until you get a little older and it just all comes full circle. 
  Prayers for you and your family-im sure you have good memories.
