  Low tide had me in 13 feet of water but at best 6 inches in that spot. We could walk across the Maui mat to shore in ankle deep water at low tide. That boat floated again a little before midnight when they left for deeper waters

  Was down in the engine compartment all day under rain and grey clouds installing my new lithium house battery setup (another post on that later) and all of a sudden the whole boat lit up  orange as the sun came up underneath the trailing edge of the front.  It was just the encouragement I need to cut a great big hole in the boat for a new battery switch panel.

  Sunset at Fairhope Yacht Club, Mobile Bay, Alabama.  People here are just amazing.  The first two couples we met at the bar both offered us their cars for running errands.  The second couple spent two hours sharing cruising tips with us, then took us out for Sunday brunch this morning.  Love it here in LA!  (Lower Alabama  )
