    I put the new bird deterrent up on the arch. Seems like a good size ( 8’ diameter). Hopefully the Gulls don’t sit on the back end of the Bimini. If they do, I’ll have to move it to the top of the Bimini instead of the arch.

    It’s been a couple weeks now and there hasn’t been any bird droppings on the bimini. I actually forgot to take it down last Tuesday and it stayed up there as I went across the bay 😂. I have a Velcro strap I use to go around the light post to keep it secured.

    I have one these on my 360. It handles the birds, but it creates a LOT of collateral damage around the marina and nearby towns.

    Just a quick followup to my testing of the same bird deterrent shown here by @aero3113. Delighted to report that the cormorants who were making a huge mess of my boat have not been back since setting up this Daddy Long Legs bird deterrent. My boat sat unused for about three weeks and not one indication of any birds landing/crapping anywhere on the boat. Thanks again to @aero3113 for sharing this info here.
