I've found spare parts on the following site, I didn't see the entire assembly for the control box, but it looks like they have the control board pcb:

Have you just checked with Kohler? Don't mean to ask a stupid question...I haven't made a lot of purchases but including the anode I was able to get tune up parts from them...

This is where I’ve ordered parts for my Kohler from.

Has anyone else experienced the frame rotting out and a solution? It just makes me sick looking at it and just not sure what to do with it. I will book mark that link- thanks.

Box it up,  ship it to South Carolina this fall. Got a metal supplier down the road.

I'll ship you a new one back coated in POR.   Use the old to make an exact replica.

Not sure how you plan on removing it,  some of those gensets require engine removal before the generator can be pulled out.   The Genny alone is probably 200lbs

@PickleRick unfortunately that is the solution. I did pull the motor by undoing everything and go to the local marina to use their fork lift. I think it would come out but you'd have to be able to tilt it. I'm about ready to remove/ cut out as it really serves no purpose to me. The frame, not the generator.
