Beautiful shot. I see you have a "Daddy Long Legs" or similar anti-bird device on your arch. Do you remove it while underway? Dam cormorants are wreaking havoc on my boat, so I am looking in to options to minimize their presence. Early reading suggests that style is one of the more effective deterrents. Thanks in advance for any thoughts you can share.

I just saw the thread where you discuss the bird deterrent ideas. Not sure how I missed it, but some good info in there. I think I will give that a try. Thanks for getting me started.
@RiverRat232 I usually take it off. There’s been a couple times where I forgot and it hasn’t been an issue. I do have it attached to the nav light post with a Velcro strap. It works great to keep the birds away!
Taken last evening. Top image: Just put the boat on the mooring, and heading back to shore in the dinghy, we saw this localized rain-shower over the west side of our cove, illuminated by the setting sun. Just after we got back on shore my wife received a text from our friend who works on the cable ferry just around the corner, on the other side of the hill in the first pic. Bottom pic is the image of that same event our friend took from the ferry.
