Well, the 4th of July Holiday weekend starts tonight.....it looks like the rain will finally stop..... and now my boat is inop due to a bad fuel pump.......

I'm thinking about changing my low pressure fuel pump myself vs waiting for the Marina to get to it.  My question is can anyone tell me where it's located and if it is in fact a DIY job or should I wait.  I have the replacement pump in hand and it appears to be very easy to install.  I just need a little guidance/advice.

I have a 282 2004 with a small block engine.

Happy Boating!

Thanks!  I'll look for it there.  So it sounds like it's mounted on the engine near or over the top of my water separator filter..no need to respond unless I'm way off.  Thanks again! Joe D.
