Kohler Generator. 2008 Rinker 280 EC

Having some issues with my generator.  It runs really load compared to others (friend has searay) and its kicking off?  might be related to the way I have batteries wired.  but it will not run if battery is low-- and it should be charging it as its running anyway? 
appreciate any advise-

    Did you change the wiring for the batteries?

    Loud sounds like a muffler issue.

    If the genny is running I do not see how the batteries could effect the operation of the genny. The genny puts out 120vac............

    Take a look in the generator section of the forum.  A lot of information in there.  Spark plugs are #1, then the impeller, then fuel issues typically.

    FOLLOW UP: Today i replaced the generator impeller.  That was the culprit.
