Isinglass storage

really dumb question for all the 265 owners.....   Where do you store your  Isinglass?   Mine is currently balled up in the aft cabin, and think that there has to be a better way

    Rolled up with with paper in between, kept in a dry, cool environment.

    another good idea I heard on a previous thread was to roll them up on swimming noodles- would take two or three I'm sure...

    The noodle is probably a good idea for short term storage, like a few hours. But not long term storage. You don't want isinglass to isinglass contact. If there's any condensation, the plastic can stick to itself and cause dulling.

    There is a discussion on here from @Black_Diamond about storage bags he made for his isinglass.  Its on my list to make.

    perhaps just stored under the mid ship berth mattress with a sheet in between? I have recently had new made, for the front half, but yet to use it!

    I had straps sewn on the bimini top and I roll them into the top, that way I don't have to store them and if a weather comes up quick I just have to release the straps and all my isinglass is there to be fastened down quickly.

    I kind of saw something like that where a captain used bungee cords and pulled the plastic over the bimini and then fastened on the other side....I seldom even have my top open but it looked like a pretty good idea....

    That sounds pretty slick Ron!  Love to see a picture or two as I'm sure others would benefit (would be a bit tough for me to roll into the hardtop).  I've got some old sheets I'm planning on doing a quick sew to put them individually in, similar to BD.

    I used the swim noodle method. go to a fabric store and get some terry cloth. start by rolling the noodle onto the terry cloth then start rolling the isinglass and the terry cloth together. this will keep a layer of cloth between the isinglass
