Bed for V Berth?

Just bought a Rinker 342 and super excited. How does everyone handle sleeping in the vberth? Since not one large cushion/mattress, it seems like you need to put something on top. (Otherwise, you're feeling the cracks between the cushions.) I am thinking of cutting a foam topper to size and then just putting cover, sheets on that and using the cushions as the "box spring" of sorts. Thanks in advance for the info!

    We don't use a topper, just a sheet and haven't noticed the seams.  Might add a topper down the road.

    We use a foam topper for ours (got at Kohls) and it makes it really nice.  I'd highly recommend one!

    Any one short like DI can sleep in the V berth but I need the aft berth

    Thanks Handy!  I'd call 5'10" about average, but I'd say anyone under 6' would not have an issue.  Although I think the front berth may be smaller on the 342 than the 310.  Now, the 312 and 320 has a smaller v-berth due to a larger engine room than the 310.  But even tall Handy could fit in my v-berth!  (BTW, I'll be in Solomon's at the end of the month, maybe we can see you guys)

    Get a 3" memory foam topper and cut to fit.  You won't regret it.
