312 Gasoline tanks

Hi  Guys, I have a 2004 312 fiesta V with twin Volvo 5.0....with two 82.5galons gas tanks ....somebody Knows how works the gasoline system ?. because I used the boat, was working perfect, but  spent 25 galons from  port gas tank and almost nothing from starboard gas tank ...and few day later I filled the tanks and have the same problem ,but now it is reverse ..nothing from port gas tank and spent all from starboard gas tank...Is there  connection between tanks ?
I can,t find any information about this problem ..Thank You...!!!

    It sounds to me like your cross feed valve is in the "on" position.  It is the valve that allows both tanks to be connected together.  Should be turned off for normal operation.  It should be located high on the front wall in the engine room.
