Lost all electical power to the dash

putting in my rear running light yesterday in the holder and while trying to get it on something shorted out all my electrical power to all light, sound system, every switch and horn on the dash. The gauges all work and the lights on the gauges but nothing else. Where do I start looking??? help..

Check the molex connection in the engine compartment. It supplies all the power to the dash. The red wire may have gotten loose. It happened to me a few times with my 232cc.

It should be by the engine towards the back of the boat. It connects the wiring harness together.

Guages run off the engine battery through the ignitian I believe. The house circuit runs all the lights. You probably either blew a fuse or popped a breaker. On my 260, there's breakers by the batter switch and small push in breakers right under the steering wheel on the helm.
