Freezing weather engines blocks

Hi,
What woild be the chance of water freezing in my engines blocks at let say -2 celsuis or  28 F.

    How long was it in below freezing temps?

    I went to start my engines tomorrow nice weather but overnight the are calling for -2 C or 28 F for a few hours maybe 4 to 5 hrs

    If you run it late in the day I'm sure the engine compartment will stay warm over night. But if you don't want to take a chance and you think there is more cold weather ahead I would wait.

    After that little cold overnight the weather should be over the freezing point. So aero and Al thank you very much for the Infos. I will go head tomorrow and start the engines

    Just put a bit of water in a cup and set it in the engine compartment - you'll see that you need it to be below freezing for an extended period of time before you'd have to worry about water in an engine freezing.

    Could ways put a light in the compartment. Keeps it somewhat warm. I have done that in the past
