Temp gauge help needed

  The temp sensor is near the themostat housing, its a single wire. to test it you can ground it out and see if your gauge goes to max. I am sure you could also pull it and test the resistance with a multimeter.

  you will have to get some long extenders on your multi-meter, but I would just check for continuity between the wires at the sensor and the wires to the dash.
