shower pump out pump

Hi all, due to a bit of an anger management issue (actually I think I managed the anger quite well) my shower pump is now on the bottom of the Mississippi river and I need to purchase another one. Will any of the shurflo pumps work or do I need a specific pump?

    LOL, I had to replace mine this spring, It was replaced with 750 gpm pump. The only thing you should ckeck maybe is the size of the hose where it connects. They may be all the same? have another beer lol

    Just replaced my tank and pump this spring as well. Boat came with the Atwood S500 sump tank and pump. You may be able to just buy another pump, the entire tank and pump assembly is only around $20 more than the pump alone I think.

    I replaced mine with the Attwood one. It was the same one that was on my boat from the factory.

    I replaced mine this spring with the S500.  Fit right in place, same as old.

    I replaced the float switch in my sump last year.  I understand that the Attwood float switches are prone to failure.

    Just replaced float switch last weekend, iT would have been wise to buy the hole box

    I bought the whole kit with box and pump on eBay. It's not one of the popular name brand but works great. It wasn't very much at all.

    just replaced mine a few weeks ago as well and the attwood 500 was a direct match for my 06 250ec

    the problem is that its not the shower sump style. its a inline pump that pumps the water up and out the side of the boat. Im thinking that if the gpm is the same at the galley pump I should be ok

    Hello all, I'm new to the forum and I have a similar boat ('96 265 FV) with a similar problem. 

    YSMB, how did you get to the pump, the access is not obvious to me.  Thanks.

    The pump is behind the bathroom cabinet under the sink. I did mine in spring, I used a shurflo that can run dry without damage. Same boat 95 fv-265

    I'm new as well and I'm probably looking at the wrong box but I believe mine is under the cabin entrance steps.  I have a fiesta vee 242

    well finally got around to replacing the pump.     For anyone who is interested, you have to put the strainer on the inlet side of the pump, otherwise the pump will suck in the sand and crud in the hose at the shower drain. The crud/sand make the pump not work
