Back in the water again

Well it took forever but we are in the water again after an unexpected mess. Had marina do risers manifolds on starboard engine (port was already done when I bought it). They found corrosion and low compression so we sent the heads out for freshen up.  During test drive spun main bearing. We got new engine from mercruiser and they couldn't get it running right, called in mercruiser and found it was bad engine. Got another new engine then found bad high pressure pump etc. Anyways enough complain just happy to be back on the water.

I know,,,,,and leaking gas tanks, etc. That said I spent about 10 hrs out on mine this weekend, with family and friends, and it worked flawlessly. Can't worry all the time I guess.

Great to hear you are back in.  I was just on the boat for the last 10 days and well, I have a little drip going on behind my stbd engine.   Hoping it's just a bellow, but took it straight to my mechanic after the trip.  Always something.
