FV270 Lines getting caught on anchor while mooring

Looking for ideas...
When tied to a mooring ball, if the wind is blowing, and the boat is swinging from side to side, the lines always snag under the anchor. Latest tactic I'm using is to flip the anchor around so that its facing up, but that's a pain to do!

Anyone else have this issue and thought of other ways to prevent the lines from catching the anchor when the boat swings?

    Fashion a small harness so the anchor can be tied off on both cleats at the same time?

    Randy56, yea that's what I did this weekend, flip it upside down and laid it on the roller. Was hoping something easier as you gotta drop the anchor a bit, then fish it out and pull it up by hand...

    Can you just drop your anchor slightly... Let it hang.

    I have honestly never tied up to a mooring ball, It was just an idea... Let us know how it works.. Lol

    I would do just what Tony said.  Use your two forward cleats and tie off from both of those.  Real simple.  Heck, when I anchor, I use a prusik knot off of those two cleats onto my rode so I don't get the pulling effect from the anchor.  Take a 20 ft line, fold it in half and make a knot with a loop in the middle.  Tie each end to the cleats and then the loop onto the mooring.
