  Well, I would say you get what you pay for. My experience with these box store parts, particularly with alternators on my car is they count on your car dying of something else before you show up again with their fallen apart crap. On the water is no place for secondary made products, will cost you more in the long run in my opinion!

  just get yours rebuilt... easier and cheaper ..look for a local rebuilder

  I'm not trying to cheap out....just came across the product as a match replacement.
  
  @Black_Diamond - yes it's the same amperage.
  
  @F1100 - I like the idea...but I really need to have it installed next weekend...plus I didn't bring home with to have rebuilt.  Not sure it could be done in a week.

  I've never had a Sierra alternator but I do like their replacement parts. Never had an issue with one.   -Paul

  Nevermind...researched the company selling this on Amazon and the title is completely misleading and wrong.  It's not a Sierra
