  Deployed trim tab? One drive at different level than another (on a friend's boat the trim tab shims were in different locations after a maintenance session) Steering pump problem.

  Its not the tabs or the drives. Does not matter if the boat is going fast or slow (no wake) he/we checked with the drives up/down same with the tabs. As soon as you let go of the wheel it spins to the right.

  Handy not sure about the R/P. It steers very easy and is responsive. No power steering pump noises and boat handles OK.

  Handy how are you right? You said rack and pinion.  AL said power assist actuator.  2 different things. Thanks everyone for your help. ...
