Where would you live and boat if you had a choice?

I was just wondering where, if you had a choice or fantasy, would you like to live and boat anywhere in the world. Myself, I would probably pick the Greek Islands.

    Really Handy really????? LOL I would like to stay where I am but I wish we did not have a winter. I also would like to take a trip (by boat) to the statue of Liberty.

    I'd just move to northern Michigan and stay on Lake Michigan.  Up near Petoskey/Charlevoix/Harbor Springs.

    My dream would be to live aboard and head north up the coast during the heat of summer, and south down the coast for the winter. A 40-45 foot trawler, twin engine, dual station, aft cabin would be my vessel of choice. All I need is a bunch of money, and a girl to go with me. However, I don't have anywhere near the money, my wife wouldn't go, and she won't let me have a girlfriend!

    I think boating is more about the friends you go boating with.  So my perfect place is right where I am, but maybe I'd charter in the Caribbean during the off-season.

    Spending time in familiar places with familiar friends is a great way to spend time, however, exploring new places, and meeting new friends is an adventure.

    My wife and I talk about moving to the Tampa area all the time. Will make it happen sometime

    Maui, went there in 2000 and in 2005, it was sweet! weather is great all year around.
    Fishing is good. 

    I would like to experience all body's of water, have not been to great lakes yet boating, Nor upper east coast. but been almost everywhere else, Mexico both sides, and most all Caribbean islands, on cruse ships, all were a 10 !

    While in Maui, we went on a submarine tour, when we were down 100 ft the tour guide said: give your sweetie a kiss it will be the deepest one she ever gets. hahaha

    In October we are privileged to get to tour the Cape coral/ Fort Meyers FL area thanks to Handy.

    @jhofmann, my wife will not let me have a girlfriend either.

    Very nice Bry!  I'd definitely like to go somewhere the water is clear.  Probably in the Caribbean would be my choice.  But that picture from Bry sure makes me think Spain would work too. :)

    I have literally been around the world by boat, ship actually.  There are places like the above picture in most of the worlds oceans.  One of them is just down the road from me in Destin, FL.  Picture: Image result for destin florida crab island water

    Another one is just 50 miles across the Gulf Stream from Miami, Bimini and the rest of the Bahamas. The absolute clearest most pristine water I have ever seen was in the Indian Ocean, close to the Maldives and Seychelles Islands. 

    I am pretty happy boating here on the Gulf Coast of FL for the summer and fall, but would like to be able to go to the FL Keys or maybe Puerto Rico for the short winter period, Mid-November - mid-March.

    Google: Eagle Beach Aruba, Grace Bay Providenciales, Seven Mile Beach Caymans. Top three beaches I have been at from Australia to Hawaii. P.S. saw a Rinker in Aruba a few days ago.

    @Handymans342 The 520 came out in 2013, engine and outdrive cost $10k more than I have in my boat. LOL

    Ambergris Belize...  the food, the diving the people. Just amazing and the conch ceviche is the best I have ever had.
