A big shout out to Tikihut2 for the posts on Sarasota. We spent last weekend on the boat out there and it was beautiful. Complete with Manatee's and Dolphins hanging out by the boat. We went over to Tide Tables and had an amazing lunch, enjoyed and almost full moon and met some great people. We stayed on the inside of what they called beer can island just on the other side of the bridge from your picture. (they were dredging and re burying the cables on that side). Anyways, thank you for the great info it was a perfect weekend.

    sadly I didn't take any pics of the manatee or dolphin, I was too busy watching them.

    that was at the Tide Tables for lunch. We didn't stay in a marina, we just anchored out. Grilled Chops potatoes for dinner and I made ceviche before we left so we had that for a snack.  Mike did some fishing but caught a snake (thank goodness it wiggled off the line so he didn't have to bring it on the boat) so I decided Pork Chops would be the best option.
