4 step ladder

looking to replace my current 3 step ladder with a 4 step. having trouble finding one that would fit in the "cut out " on the swim platform. Boat is a 270fv. has anybody done this? if so what ladder did you use?

I've been looking at this too.. I don't think there's a 4 step that will fit... was considering just having it not fit in the cut out.

My 2006 FV 270 has a 4 step ladder. Think it was original to the boat.

You have a picture of it by any chance? I'm close to just ordering one and trying it out..

I can take a picture next time I go to the boat. Might be a few weeks before I get there though

Seems like the 2005/2006 swim platform came with a covered ladder vs what I've got..

I like this one...and wonder how many steps it has..

    vs what I have:

Funny, zooming in on the second picture, it appears to be a 4 step ladder.. guess I'll just order it and hope for the best.

this one is no good :(  In fact I can't seem to find a 4 step with the correct width.  Seems like you need one about 15 1/2 inches outside width with about 14 inches from mounting hole to mounting hole.  Oh well this goes back and I'll wait for someone else to answer.. a part number would be great!

My OE ladders (bow & swim platform - 2007 246 Captiva BR) are Windline brand, 3 step. Don't know if they offer a 4 step or if they sell directly to public. I'll try to look into it. I'd like to have a 4 step on the S.P.

thank you J3FF for trying. I have left a voice mail at Rinker parts to get back with me on the width of what they are installing on current models. I have talk to windline and they thought our wide ladders were custom made for Rinker. so, looks like that may be our only hope.

if anyone out there has a 4 step ladder could you measure the width and let us know the brand if it is 14" on center at the mount?

J3FF ,,,, I may have found one at Rinker. Ms Jimenez at Rinker sent me an email today stating that they have a 220524 Ladder, 4 Step that is 15" wide

Excellent, now the question is: Is the 99 ladder the same size as the 2004 ?  Would you mind sending me the email address of the lady who you worked with? I googled the part number and came up empty.

when your as old as I am it is. I will let you know tomorrow whether or not this old man can reach the nuts in the swim platform. will probably need a couple of visits to the Chiropractor

got the old one off today and temporarily installed the new one. fits perfect! took it off to patch old holes with epoxy. you guys probably don't want to hear this but there was no sealer on the bolts. it doesn't appear as if any was ever applied. the wooden ladder stringers are very wet. you should probably remove yours and check and reseal.

I have a 2002 342, I went to the rinker dealer in my area and tried to order a four step, they said it was impossible, I then walked to the dock, they had a brand new 2014 in the water, I got on the swim and opened the the cover, behold a four step ladder that fit correctly, I returned to the counter and ordered one for a 2014 Rinker, After I called the dealer an incompetent ****, It to was a Windline, It cost me 375 dollars, I always wondered if someone called windline if we could get it cheaper.

Getting parts from Rinker or any other boat brand is like going to Ford and buying spark plugs.

i did call windline and they stated that they did not make one. when I told her that mine had a windline sticker on it she said that it was probably custom made for rinker. so I would have to try to get one from them. I took that to mean that they will make one to your specs if you order enough of them.
