    I ended up ordering, thank you for the info! Will get it installed asap.

    I went to the hardware store and got rubber washers to go between the mount and platform and also sealed with 4200. I also backed the mount with 3"x12" x 1/4" aluminum strips along the ladder stringers inside the platform.

    99270 - what was your total charge? I see something pending on mine for 260.99 from highwater marine..  225 was already enough, 260 is nuts for a ladder. lol

    That might include the shipping charges.

    Sure - but when I ask "how much" and the response is 225... another 35 ontop of it should probably be noted! I think after 250 I would have said forget it and kept the darn 3 step ladder.

    I agree that the extra 35 would be a huge surprise. A phone call to them might be in order if they quoted you 225 including shipping.

    I asked "how much does one of these run?"  and the response was "The ladder is $225."  

    So yeah, no shipping included, but maybe when it's more than 10 bucks of shipping...it should be stated outright.

    I actually got one of those for free!! All I'm saying is that when I ask "how much" I expect a TOTAL price. Not a price for part and a super inflated shipping price. For 35 dollars this thing better be shipped overnight Sunday delivery.

    you'll love the four steps.  Mine came with it and what a difference from the 3 steps we had on our 310!  You could just buy a used 400 and get the ladder with it! :)  (long story short, the admiral always wanted a larger sink with the 310....told the rinkervous crew we got a larger sink, boy were they surprised! :) )

    I actually had 4 step ladders one my previous two boats, so I know I'll like it. I actually just got a response 4 minutes ago saying "225 plus shipping and tax" 

    Fine....okay..........this is how boating goes.....just saying, 225 is not the same as 260  :'(

    Looks good @j3ff !  I have a 4 step on mine and it is great! Well worth the extra effort to change it out!

    Yeah, I just can't believe there was no sealant at all! I do have to swap the screws to some flat head ones next weekend..excited to use it this summer!

    According to Windline's website the one installed on my 276 is 12" wide, same as the JIF marine one I posted.
