    I have always used Shurhold products with great success. This year I'm using REJEX paint sealant rub rail down. Check out both websites

    I have always used the shurhold too.. Just gearing up to do under the rub rail tomorrow.. with all of their products, it's just too easy and I will mess things up with a regular product.

    Four hours with the shurehold stuff. I'd skip using the red pad on a dark hull and just do it by hand as I did.  Before is 2nd picture and after.

    Your boat looks gr8! - thanks for the pix - I ordered a gallon of brite wash, 2 4lb jars of buff magic, 32 oz of SMC and pro polish. For the yellowish waterline, I'm trying "barkeepers friend" (hearing great things). Using the porter cable 7424xp to make it happen. I'll post pix after the detail. BIG THANKS for the awesome info. Keep it comin' ... I'm all ears!

    If you are heavily oxidized use Presta Super cut compound. It's pretty much the most aggressive compound you can get. I tried buff magic and others, and after lots of research this was recommended. It's works great and buffs out to a nice shine. One downside is it makes a mess. You will have a sandy dust everywhere. Follow up with your favorite wax or polish. 
    I use a Dewalt buffer. It's an awesome weapon!
