SYNCRONIZE PROPS ON BRAVO 3 DUAL PROPS

Saw in a boating magazine that dual props need to be ligned up properly .Inner prop with fin on top middle and outer prop with fin lower middle. Do the  serial # have to be  lined up also  at a certain  point.tks  Rick

    Only the blades need to be lined up as you stated never heard anything about the serial number location.

    One blade at 12 o'clock and other prop at 6 o'clock,serial numbers don't matter.

    As I was informed on this site, this is so both blades do not line up directly behind drive housing. This could effect performance and cause cavitation.

    There is no special timing of the props. Service manuals for engines and drives are available from local dealers or by calling our Publications Department at 920-929-5040, option #4. Have your serial number ready when ordering.

    @frenchship do you have that manual page for how the thrust washers should be positioned?

    if you are talking about the thrust hubs for the front and rear propeller on the picture part C and F the manual are not showing clearly wich way the should be put on. But it is easy to know wich way they go in the taper part is facing the back.

    If both props are 3-blade props, align them.  If one is a 4-blade and the other is a 3-blade, alignment doesn't matter.
