Carpet backing

Anyone had any luck with a specific spray on backing for your cockpit carpet? Topside is in pretty good condition, underside rubber is rubbing off. Have used a rubber spray stuff a couple of times and had been reasonable, Not sure if it's not enough prep in getting off the flaky existing backing or what I used. Just wondering if anyone has had better success with other products.

    Yes, plasti dip from Home Depot. Buy a can for around $7 and paint it on the bad areas. Will get you another season or two.

    @icoultha happened to my original snap in carpeting. Happens when it gets wet and then dries and sticks to the nonskid below. Once it starts it almost impossible to stop. Do yourself a favor and throw it out and invest in Marine mat or Seadek. One one of the best upgrades I did on my 280 and I love it. No more waiting days for it to dry

    Yeah, thinking of going that path some time. Shame to toss out what is in good shape on the upside anyway.
