Sink Drain Stopper

Does anyone know where I can find the strainer/stopper for my cockpit sink drain?  I am afraid of dropping things down the drain.

    It was a white rubber plug. Any Hardware store. Measure diameter

    I didnt like the rubber stoppers so I went to Ace Hardware and bought a bunch of different strainers. One of them fit perfectly, I returned the rest.

    Thanks Guys,

    I'm going to try the strainer route.  The head sink has the white stopper and I want to change that too.  I'll post what I find if anything. 

    I thought that there was a strainer originally because the drain is threaded.

    Dolllar store will have mesh strainers in various sizes that just sit in the drain and prevent things from falling through.

    I put the SS mesh strainers in all my sinks even in the shower,they work good keeping stuff out.

    The size is usually the same as a bar sink. Defender has a few styles. Search sink drain on their site.

    I found a strainer that fits last night at Lowes.  It doesn't act as a stopper but I really wasn't looking for that anyway.  I didn't have my phone at the boat last night so I didn't get a picture of it in the sink.  It fits both the cockpit wet bar sink and the head sink on my 270.
