Can't find my manual and a friend is helping me do an oil change but we need to know what type of oil filter and oil do I need for an oil change?

    I use Mercury 25w-40 Semi-synthetic oil with the Mercury Hi-Efficiency oil filter Part # 35-858004K. I have the Mercruiser 6.2MPI engine in my boat.

    2008 280 Express Cruiser, 6.2MPI, B3, Pittsburgh, PA "Blue Ayes" (Sold)
    2022 Cherokee 294GEBG Black Label land yacht.

    thank you - so the Mercruiser 6.2MPI is the same as mine?  Sorry I'm just learning everything since unfortunately I am now the Captain.. these are the things my husband always took care of :-(
