BBQ mounted while underway

Had a question... what are most of you guys doing with your BBQ's in the swim platform underway. 

Will you remove each time or is it safe to run with them on he pedestal. 

Thoughts would be appreciated. I'm hearing both sides from my friends but would like to know if it's not a good idea too.

    I always put it away, unless you're going slow.

    I remove mine all of the time, but I have seen others run with it in place. I believe the manual says you aren't supposed to go fast with it up.

    Yeah you don't want all that torque on the swim platform mount while underway.

    Better safe than sorry. That BBQ at the end of the aluminum post will develop a lot of energy that will be translated to the mounting ring. Not a happy thought!
