Starboard won't start when out on the water

Every time we stop on the water and turn the motors off we have issues getting the starboard motor to turn back on when we are ready to leave. Both motors work just fine on shore power and we have all new batteries.

I was having trouble with my 2003 starting for a while.  Mostly when cold though.  I did a full tuneup.  Plugs, wires, dist cap, rotor and new fuel filters.   Cleared the problem right up.

So you mean it won't crank?  If that's the case, there is a starter solenoid behind the throttle body by the red circuit breaker.  They are known for going bad/being fussy.  $20 part.

Can you give us more info.   When you say won't start, it does not crank, or it cranks but doesn't want to fire.  Which boat are you in?

When I turn the key nothing happens. Doesn't make a sound. Eventually it will fire right up but takes a while
