New Regal 3300 Bowrider Sportboat

My apologies for swearing on our forum (Regal) but a friend is looking at a 2017 Regal 3300. Of course I said WHAT? get a Rinker. He said I looked at Rinkers and still am ....but you should see some of the neat features of this boat. Apparently it really moves with twin 380 HP 6.2L engines. Again sorry for swearing but I did google it and watched the test boat video. It is a cool boat but I can only imagine the price - all optioned-out!

    Also available as 3300 OBX, twin outboard power up to 700 HP. Frees up lots of cockpit space. Can't find pricing for these models but the 33 XO outboard powered express cruiser lists at around $300,000.

    @Glassguy54......yeah, I just sent my friend an e.mail. For that price he could buy a Rinker EC 360 with 8.2 Mags Bllls and all the options. CRAZY!!!!!

    I watched a test on a regal and that thing was sharp- just disappointed the either they don't test or Rinker foes not offer them a boat(s) as I would like to see the new models. I can dream!

    Very nice....but hes had major electrical issues with it from day 1 .....its going this fall

    I just saw on boat test, 43' fly bridge from them....pretty sweet boat but at $750 grand, I would need to live for 3 lifetimes to pull that one off with the bank. Pretty nice boat......

    I was looking at the Regal Sportyacht w hardtop until I found out the Volvo drives can fall off and aren't warranted.  No wonder there's so many for sale?!

    very sweet but not a half million sweet- I always thought I made "decent" money but how much to you make to be able to afford a half million dollar bow rider? I'd say I do without some stuff to have my boat- and I paid 34 grand for mine!

    I just can't imagine people forking out $500k for a bowrider with a small sleeper!  I don't care how much money I had, I'd still use it wiser than that!  & these fold down pieces in the back, well, I guess they are nice...but that ends any rafting up with someone if you want to use it!

    & the Volvo drives falling off, are you talking about the IPS drives?  I've heard about a lot of people coming back to port knocking them completely off.

    I can't imagine those IPS/pod drives in Fl- I'd knock one off every time I left the dock...are they made to fold like an out drive will bounce up when you hit something? They just don't look very practical except for a very large cruiser that is ocean going or stays in a channel 100% of it's life...
