Mounting Boat Hook and Dockline Holders in the rear locker

Anyone mount clips/hooks in the rear locker (off the swim platform) on the back wall? I'm pretty sure that's the same surface as the cushion is mounted to the other side. I'm looking for cool ideas for organization, and ways to remove the cushion for easy access.

Thanks in advance!

I installed a set of stainless steel hooks to hang lines.  Works great.  On mine, removing the seat backrest cushion is easy.  Remove two small screws at the bottom, then slide the cushion up about 1", and it pops right off.

I think this is the product I installed.  It keeps wet dock lines up off the floor so they can dry.  Each hook will hold three 3/4" lines.

On the boat hook, I keep mine at the helm. It fits perfectly in the water gutter just inside of the window. Nice to easily be able to grab and use or toss to the admiral at a moments notice. Like the idea of hanging lines in the trunk, will have to see if I have room for that.

I love that mod @LaRea . I wish I could do that, but I store my fenders in the rear locker, so I don't have room for the hooks.

I do the same, one each side, hers and mine :) . Actually I mainly use it at the helm for hooking the lock cables, admiral is the safety at the stern. Docking at our current slip is a straight pull in so the admiral brings her in close and I step onto dock and grab lines ready.

I put our hook on the same spot on the Port side.  It's in reach for both of us.  Because of our docking at home I end up having her get on the bow with the hook and grab the "catch line" which is on a hook out over the water.  Once she has that it goes on the Port forward cleat.  Once that's in place I can bump the Port engine into reverse for a couple seconds and we are docked.

With the strong tidal conditions we boat in the hook is not very helpful - I'd need a much beefier hook to help. I'm forced to get the boat right to the dock using the single engine and conditions. If I can't do that I get close as possible and slip a spring over the dockside cleat then use physics.

I'm not sure I'd a very good opinion of someone using that thing around the docks.

Like the ideas of keeping the boat hook on the port side, may have to institute that this summer!

I have 2 boat hooks that I store in the windshield gutter. One on each side. Very handy for anyone to grab.

Just note, boat hooks aren't great for fending boats off of other boats while moving.  I saw one boat hook, go thru, yes thru, the hull of a Rinker 310.
