  It would make docking sooooo much more confident on a typical 270 during a windy day.. So far I haven't hit anything, but it's been close!! would be awesome using a bow thruster in the mix!

  I had a Vetus BOW25 55 lbf./12 volt bow thruster installed from Florida Bow Thrusters. Meet them at the NYC boat show. Best deal. Very disappointed in rinker that they never come to boat show near the tri state area.

  So what was the cost?? It would be worth a kings ransom! Docking still scares the crap out of me and I avoid a slip that has a boat in it, sometimes I still take up both spots!

  So I guess the tunnel for the bow thruster replaces the strength lost by cutting that spot into the wood for the motor right?

  yes and they didn't cut it all out just enough to fit the motor

  I am pretty darn anal about things being perfect but as long as it’s flush with the gelcoat I woild not care about it butting up to the cup holder
