Adding Cockpit Air Vent

I have a 2002 Rinker 342. It has the AC/Heat vent in the bathroom. I was wondering if anyone has ever taken that vent hose, either added onto it or re-routed it up to the cockpit. Im not looking or expecting great results like trying to cool the cockpit down to 60 degrees or keep it warm in the winter, just something along the lines of knocking the heat off during a summer rain storm for 30 minutes with the canvas up or running it on shore-power at night in the fall to stay kind of warm.

My wifes uncle used to own a Rinker 312 and stated he had done so, but im not sure how to route that around the shower. Im thinking of installying a Y on the line and running it under the port bench seat with a vent that i can close off when not in use.

Let me know what your thoughts are,

    Sounds like a good idea. Do you think you will lose too much flow with a "Y"?

    Actually with the vent that you open and close, you might be good.

    I saw a boat with air in the cockpit and I chuckled. Now that I'm older (36 next week) I'm starting to think that would be nice. But it's cheaper to hire a young girl to fan me and feed me drinks than add the venting on my 280 EC.

    Might be easier to prop up a window unit on the gunwale.   :)

    I have an air vent in my cockpit.  It is really nice and blows right at the helm! :)

    I'm married so I disagree. That option would be VERY expensive! But I like how you think!
