Stereo 5 CD Changer

The little box that pops out of here that holds the 5 CD's for the CD changer will not pop out.  How in the world can I get this thing out??  Anyone ever have this?  Impossible to see the unit above the television.

Is there power to the unit? Need power to eject.

I put a blu-ray player in that spot since it wasn't being used.

there is power, it clicks, but doesn't come out.  Major PITA

If you remove the stereo you can reach the CD changer.  I want to say there were some screws coming up from underneath the player.  It was a pain to get out, but newer stereos make it pretty useless. 

I got a stereo with a cd player and USB inputs.  I use an iPod with it, but could use a thumb drive.

Look up the manual. There should be an over ride to get the CD cassette out.

Over ride expired in early 2000s 🤣

There isn't an override because there could be a CD loaded.  I'm afraid without dissembling the case you won't get the cartridge out without damaging something
