Vesselview mobile not connecting.

So, after searching the fourm on the topic of vessel view I am still unsure of my problem. I installed then harness, switched the purple weather cap to the yellow terminator. I have a solid smartcraft light and a blinking or solid bluetooth light. Still getting connection error and to key on engines which of course are. Any ideas?

Is the Bluetooth enabled on your phone?

Mine only worked with this one It seems you have that ,might want to call the manufacturer maybe they can help

What engine type and year and how many? What items did you buy to rig this up?

Yes. Bluetooth is enabled, i have it paired on my phone, in the VV app I find the module. When I try to connect it errors out  " Error, cannot complete initial setup, please make sure all engines are keyed on." I have 2003, twin 5.0's. I bought the terminator and the smartcraft module harness in the picture.

Sounds like my install, did you by harnesses with terminators and the 4 port jbox? If so you won't need terminator on the VVMM. Look at my posting in https://rinkerboats.vanillacommunities.com/discussion/9690/mercury-vessel-view-mobile-on-sale#latest around mid April.
