looks like this may be a bigger problem than I thought. "Bigger" meaning more $$ I took this video and sent it to my VP repair tech...she said it looks like a supercharger/turbocharger/exhaust issue, Fingers crossed it's not that bad, but I'm still hoping for better news.
This was taken at the slip, with the drives disengaged, running the engine up to 1500rpms..
I think the supercharger switches on, via an electric clutch at about 1400 RPM and goes off when the turbo has spooled enough, at about 2500 RPM. My guess would be belt, clutch or supercharger.
Hey Dirty - Saw you posted in another thread that you pulled your engine. As a fellow D6-370 owner I am curious as to what the problem was, what did it take to repair it, how is it working now? Thanks
