2003 Merc 350 MAG MPI coolant line

This is the hose heading to the exhaust riser, starboard side of engine, comes up from the raw water manifold and splits to each side.  Raw water cooled engine.

So this formed hose is no longer available form Mercury, to boot: one end is 3/4" the other 1" (riser side).

Any brilliant ideas on how to replace?  No way hose off a coil will bend and not kink to make the turns.  I hate to make a cluster of adapters and 'PVC' right angle pieces.  Reducing the riser manifold barbed fitting is an option, but guessing I would have to do both sides to balance the flow.

Hydraulic shop might be able to make you something nice. Here in Washington we have lots of logging and equipment shops that do hydraulic lines. Maybe something like that near you.

Try rubberline.com . I have had them repair all kinds of hoses and lines for me . Not sure if they can duplicate that one but it's worth a shot.

Also, if you have the Merc part number have your dealer do a check of other dealer stock and also the Mercury Canadian warehouse in Milton.

and use your engine serial number to search. That will give you the original complete Merc part number which you may be able to use to cross reference to see if Sierra or another aftermarket outfit has one. I'd be surprised that someone somewhere doesn't have it. You did mention though that Merc doesn't have it so maybe already have the part number. But maybe someone else will find that fiche above to be handy.
Also, there are specialty rad shops that can custom form hoses (think antique and custom car market) that can form hoses but won't likely be cheap.

Hmm. No doubt you searched the heck out if it. Still think may be could be built. At least close enough to work.

Did you look into a hydraulic shop like I suggested? Or maybe checking with a radiator or car repair shop.

I looked at that silicone hose. Nice stuff. Expensive as heck too. lol

i would still have the issue of the Tee being 3/4” and the barbed pipe fitting into the riser being 1”. So I would have to change both sides to balance flow.  

Something not correct. The Merc parts diagram does not show it as a formed hose nor the different hose end sizes.
