Some fishermen use steel lines to get the lines to sink deeper, others use down riggers which have 250# cables ... something like that will definitely cause some destruction around a prop.
No biggie, my 310 had a couple of those I found while cleaning the bottom years ago, same thing just some west system and a light sand and off you go. Your bottom is not cored but even if it was you can see thats just a void between the gelcoat and the glass.
I can't see spending 9 -11k on a NEW Bravo 3 if the rebuilt one comes with a better warranty for half the cost. Then throw in that the seacore is 7700 and it's completely out the window.
I guess the question is...is the seacore, being NEW and including 50 booty bucks worth the $3404 price difference?
Wow, price jumped on this... got in at the low for sure.
Some body is going to get a completely rebuild boat when you sell. Looks awesome.
Planning to use it for the winter down here and put it up for sale next May.. motor and T/A will be 3.5/4 years old, AC less than a year, Hot water, less than a year, out drive less than a year.. ha ha, knocking on wood over here right now, there's still things that could go wrong!!
So that's 2.2 rotations of the prop for each rotation of the drive shaft, right? Which would mean that I'm at the highest possible - correct? or does it work the other way?
You have or had a 2.20 I could tell by the the speed and RPM that you have reported in the past. @Willhound is correct 2.2 motor to 1 turn prop. So 4400 RPM is 2000 revelations of the prop.
got it.. yeah, going to have to get one of those 22's sooner or later. Is there any thought on what is better to do? 2.00 ratio and 20p prop or 2.20 ratio and 22p prop? Is one way stronger/better than the other?

Sweat plus cutting and sanding fiberglass. I itch thinking about it.

Your cutting water so prop slip 10% = 35 mph
