    Just Watched interview with a downtown business owner who was looted for the third time. Unreal. No one helps and the mayor is a joke like New York City. Terrible to watch

    We were wanting to go to Chi town, but due to the recommendations above, I am going to hold off until next year. We are doing the next best thing, visiting the admiral's family in Champaign, IL. I also get to stop by Trailmaster to pick up a trailer for a friend. Would have loved to have stopped at the Rinker factory, but we all know how that has played out for now...

    There was a spokesperson and I use that term lightly for the looters saying it was okay to do because all the businesses have insurance and will get back all the lost money.  I'm mean this person was a real "smart" individual.

    Im not sure how costing people from all different back grounds and income levels their jobs/lively hoods equates to social justice.

    Yeah, in some cases the stores are owned by corporations or wealthy owners but the people that run those stores are usually working pay check to pay check.  Many just happy to be back at work after the covid shut down.   

    Maybe its a strategic move, if people are unemployed they can have time to join the looters?

    I wouldn't recommend a "take if if you need it" mentality here in the south.  You might get shot at.  

    Southern hospitality is a very real thing.  They are also very protective over their own and what they won.
