Before she went to bed, she told my wife that the tooth fairy never gave her a $10 bill. I think she knows how to work the system now. Next she’s going to say the same about $20’s, $50’s and $100’s!! 😂

Not one to beach my boat (or to be overly social), we were at anchor at one of the more popular spots on the river. This pic is interesting to me as the lighting seems to separate the classic style boat (gold Larson) from the more modern style (black Chaparral). Later, we saw the 2012 Larson All American being towed by his buddy having suffered some mechanical issue.

This is my long-time forum friend and co-moderator @mvn and his Admiral, enjoying themselves in the cockpit of LaRea on an awesome day cruise a couple weeks ago!

Mark and I had been texting as I got close to his summer cruising grounds. When I made it to Bobcaygeon, they came over to hang out for an afternoon. At some point, the Admiral suggested ... no, she insisted, that they should join us the next day for the cruise from Bobcaygeon up to Fenelon Falls. Diane and I jumped at the opportunity!

For this beautiful 2-hour cruise, our five visitors included an awesome young man named Cooper, shown here pretending to drive while watching the boat steer herself on autopilot. A grand time was had by everyone, but mostly by me sharing the boat with good friends!

It’s docked in Port Jefferson NY for the summer. We caught it while we were on the ferry about to cross the LI sound.

12 ounces of delicious fresh smallmouth bass for the grill tonight! Caught at Hotham Island in North Channel at the top of Lake Huron. He was feisty and very acrobatic.
