How do you remove the cloth speaker cover in the cabin?  One went dead and I want to check the wires.

On mine, they just pry off.  The frame has plastic nubs that fit into holes in the laminate.

Be gentle; the plastic is brittle.

Small flat head screwdriver to get it started. They are mounted with the super Velcro that holds the mirror on at the front of the boat hiding the anchor locker.

@Cableguy Greg oh, I know about the super velcro under the mirror.  If that's what's holding the speaker cover I'm a little bit afraid of damaging that cloth trying to tear it away.

Once you get it out a little bit, work it with your fingers and it will let loose.

No nubs or Velcro on mine. Just friction fit.

Got to boat yesterday and cabin speaker was working.  Took pressure off for removing speaker cover.  Still tried to pry it a little, and she’s on there tight.  Afraid of damaging the cloth covering.  Will hold off on this one till speaker really dies again.
