2005 270 Windscreen seals

Hi

I have found a number of recent posts regarding 270 windscreens glass. Mine has dropped on the starboard side meaning I have a gap at the top. I have found from a previous post, the rubber seals available at:

Will the part number of the windscreen I understand I need to find, be specific to my boat, or if the part is generic to all 270 windscreens, would anyone know what it is, or which seal would be the correct one?

Also does the same seal go the whole way around the glass?

If you get the serial number of your windshield and reach out to Taylor Made they will tell you what you need. I think the serial is port side under the gasket.

Well i've found the number, but taylor made can't help me with the seal or even what it looks like. They've suggested i contact Ocean Dynamics, who have asked for a cross section or profile view of the rubber which I can't get without taking the windshield assembly apart. So if anyone knows what the rubber seal for windshield part no. 843293 looks like I would really appreciate it.

There was a posting from a member on here that replaced there's from a company that has lots of seals and they show the cross section with measurements on their website. I can not think of the company or posting but it was relatively recently.

No it's not that link. I had commented on the thread I am speaking of but I can't seem to find it. I can do some more digging and see. 

Although I may be thinking of a different window seal. I am referring to the screw cover seal but I guess you need the actual window seal around the window. I'll see if I can find that link and maybe they will have that as well. 

I can not find that old post I have looked all over my previous post and don't see it.

It's a the same gasket all the way around the window.  But I doubt you need to replace the seal.  Just remove the top rail of the frame, re-seat the gasket onto the window, and reinstall the rail.  It's a 2-person job, and be mindful that the glass is vulnerable when the frame is removed.  

From memory, I think the gasket is about an inch tall.
