@rasbury,being a Floridian, needed a puffy jacket and a hat just to go out to his yard and pick oranges. Hitchhikers in Florida were holding up pictures of thumbs. Florida politicians had their hands in THEIR OWN pockets. Florida COVID patients with a temperature over 104F were being used as hand-warmers!
Meanwhile, @PickleRick might have needed to wear a shirt, but not long sleeves. @YYZRC might have needed shoes, but only for a long walk.

I'm a wuss. @Willhound is your Canadian benchmark - he's the kind of guy that does the polar bear dip and forgoes the towel in favor of a beer.
This was me and the little man after Xmas. Not car wash foam.

That may have been true at one time. As I get older I don't care for the snow as much. In my younger days I lived for it. One of my previous careers was in tourism marketing in Northern Ontario. One of the perks was that I was usually the go to guy for leading long backwoods snowmobile trips for journalists and large tour groups. This pic was taken about 600 miles north of Toronto and was used as a cover shot on a snowmobile magazine, Moteneige Quebec. Haven't been on a sled now for probably 10 years. I miss this one though, it was a rocket ship. Sadly it was stolen, stripped and burned. Got a nice fat insurance cheque and bought a boat!
I love looking at the winter pics...just could not live there! a visit would be nice but I'd spend a fortune in clothes just to be able to handle it....the further you go south....
What the heII happened? Went north for the holidays, work went remote and I just got back to the keys today and it's raining, grey and cold as all heII....and tomorrow/this weekend is supposed to be rainy??
Good news is the boat is still floating with no issues at all popping up while it was on it's own.. impressed with it for once!
