This sweetheart stole my new cockpit lights this afternoon.  Sure hope she enjoys them.

I bet when she opens the package she'll regret wasting her time climbing the stairs.  She'll need the calories.

She also scored a new z-wave relay that I was pretty excited about.

You might want to look into this adapter if you have your Ring camera plugged in. It won’t work if it’s on battery.

Ring Indoor/Outdoor Pan-Tilt Mount for Stick Up Cam Battery, White (Indoor/Outdoor Power adapter included. Camera not included) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0956D2DFR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_XAHDM5KZ2521FCHAKZ3E

@aero3113 I have the indoor camera with no battery.  It's just powered by USB.

    Okay
The one I have is powered by shore power then when I’m away from the dock it has a battery back up.

We have Arlo cameras. About the only thing interesting we have caught is a few months ago a kid (28-ish) up the road left a suicide note then disappeared so the police stopped to check our cameras. He walked by our house at 7:15AM so they knew what direction to look. They found him a few hours later and he was fine but they had an idea where to look based on our cameras. I used to coach him in football about 20 years ago. We have dash cams and catch even better stuff on them...lol

I just happened to look at my camera today. At first I noticed kids jumping off the pier, that’s the entrance to our marina, very busy with boats throughout the day. Extremely dangerous!
Then I see them swim to my dock and climb up. For some reason the town installed a ladder at the end of my dock, I don’t know why. At 1:40 you can see the kid go on my swim platform and jump off. It’s all good fun for the kids but jumping off the pier is extremely dangerous! I sent the video to the town and asked them to remove the ladder. We have a dock master that’s supposed to be watching the marina but obviously this isn’t happening.

Don't get me started about swimming with salt water and shore power!  BTW because of you, now I always refer to random persons as rando's.

I actually just used the randos word in a group text with coworkers. Funny how it just rolled off my finger tips like it was a normal word 🤣. This was in reference to shady places we have been while on the road and venturing out.

"To the main point. If there is good food and I got to beat down some randos on my way to the restaurant then so be it."

Was that a yard employee? What was his purpose to board your boat?

These yard people are all the same. They have ZERO respect for the boats that the owners trust to them for care.

I'm the kind of owner that put a door on the shrink wrap and would go hang out on it over the weekends, in the winter, just for fun.. would knock out some projects, have a drink, eat lunch on it, whatever, that's how much I love boating...

They put the shrink on it during the week and WOW there were dirty, muddy boot prints EVERYWHERE, I may have even posted pictures here, can't remember. It was ALL over the soft seats, on the TOP of where the sink and the garbage can go, on the top bar behind the front seat, up on the top of the console area. And the floor had mud all over it too..

I about hit the roof and wrote the longest and most serious email with pictures that I had ever written to date.

I told them not to enter the boat ever again and that I would be handling everything from here. They asked if they could make it right. I told them no and to just never step on it again.

Think they did end up giving a break on sanding the bottom or something.. wasn't the owners fault that the employee was a lazy bum... but still why do these people even work with big expensive boats if they cant respect them.

    Did ya call yet?

I sent the video to the service manager to ask why they would do that. I was scheduled for shrink wrap today but they pushed me back until next week due to the snow. I wonder if they went on the wrong boat as the boat next to me got wrapped today.

What the video doesn’t capture is the guy using the shovel to scrape the snow off the forward connector. You can hear it in another video.

The canvas was all new this year and I babied it. I laid it out flat with bedsheets in between whenever I removed it. Guess that was a waste.

I love how he stares at the camera. I should have given him the @aero3113 treatment and turned the siren on.

Not a security cam but a dash cam.

Cop pulled me over for supposedly running a traffic light.  New dash cam.  I was arguing with my Waze app on the way home. Cop, with no lights on, pulls into oncoming traffic and forces me to come to nearly a complete stop.  She then pulls me over

Sadly I couldn't show here this video when she pulled me over, took me 20 min once I got home to figure out how to replay videos on the camera.

I just posted the front facing video showing her pull out in front of me, not the rear view of her busting a u turn.

Video cuts out when I stop after hearing her siren.

I apologize it's upside down, I can't hang my dash cam from my tinted windshield.  My camera flips the video display for me but apparently not the video recording.

I got a written warning so no harm no foul, but a good video.
