I am replacing my trailer carpet. Has anybody installed slip pads. Would they work for a 260 EC?

It does make it easier to launch and retrieve vs carpet.
My only issue is that it doesn't last as long as carpet. Mine likes to start tearing at the front edges. My trailer is a 2019, I've already replaced one side and this season im finishing it out with duct tape holding the other side on.
Maybe just the pads would last longer.
