Musk is going to buy the Steelers and McDonald's.  He is going to fix the football team and the ice cream machines.

He's also going to put coke back in coca-cola

And now Elon is attempting to get the Epstein Island list exposed.  We all know there are many people from BOTH sides of the scumbag aisle on that list.  I'm sure that will ruffle plenty of feathers!

That would be amazing, for sure.

The media is more concerned with Elons purchase of a social media site than Epstein's travel log.

The legalities of FTX political donations is another audit the general public should know about.  While he is a well known mega donor for the Democratic party he's also made large donations to Republicans.

But again, Elon is the bigger story for the media.

In much better news I'm pretty sure the gamecocks just took Clemson out of the playoff picture, their schedule didn't justify their push for it anyway

I did love seeing Clemson lose again, but they were already way out of playoff contention

They didn't deserve playoff talk due to their cupcake ACC conference, with some very narrow in conference wins..  The Irish killed them.  Sadly the chatter was a one loss ACC champ was likely to get chosen for a CFP spot.    I detest the ACC.

It's funny when CNN/media labeled anyone who claimed social networks were censoring right wing and/or conservatives as conspiracy theorist.

From fake Russian collusion to a real deal hunter's lap top.

Elon is exposing one heck of a rabbit hole that many didn't want to believe existed.

And now Elon has called out Tim Cook after Apple has threatened to pull the Twitter app from their app store cause Elon refuses to censor the right. Musk has said if Apple pulled the Twitter app then he will create his own cell phone company. Coming from anyone else I'd call it a bluff but Musk would do it just out of principle

Apple has given 1.3 million in political donations in 2022.

Corporate America strategically swaying votes by  means of censoring what news stories or what influencers are allowed to have a platform shouldn't come as shock.   Having politicians back up this strategic censorship should be even less of a shock when you follow the money.

All though I'm all about banning the pillow guy.  If you have evidence of wrong doing release it.  Also how does a pillow guy who is a self professed recovered crack addict have the inside scoop on dirty politicians.

The my pillow guys credibility for secret Intel has to be up there with Hunter Bidens credibility as chairman on a Ukrainian board of energy.   The only information I'd believe out of either is what crack pipe they prefer.

From what I read, twitters concern was spreading political and medical misinformation. There used to be laws for political advertising that was false- now bs is repeated enough it must be true. Going down this political path, again, is probably not the thing to do, again...

It doesn't matter which color you vote.  Having a presidential candidate that is obviously involved in some, at worst illegal at the very least highly immoral, corrupt activity with his son in the Ukraine. While this candidate was acting vice president.  The media censors credible evidence as fake news despite NY times and FBI confirming it to be true.  The FBI tells Facebook to ban this story, admittedly by lizard boy Zuckerberg on Joe Rogans pod cast.  Elon has further exposed this within Twitter.  And the timing of it during an election year makes it even worse.

The media sites and TV stations, who are huge donors of the candidates that they are protecting is the issue.  Republican, democrat or green party don't matter.   Censorship of media is an act of treason, a violation of the 1st amendment, freedom of press.

So in other words, when our votes are controlled by whoever has the most money and there's censorship of media, a violation of our constitution, changes need to be made.

There's just as much corruption on the blue side as the red side.   From politicians having legal insider trading, no term limits and vote on their own pay raises.

Those in power who are both politically and invested financially should not be the ones calling the shots as to what's fake news and what's not.  The biggest threat to our republic is another monarchy.

It's a little embarrassing as an American that it took a south African to stand up to censorship and oppression.  We're a country that went ballistic over a 2% tax on tea.  Boston to this day is still very proud of that party.

I equally despise both ruling sides of political parties, but I dislike violations of constitutional rights even more.  I feel like I'm in the majority here when I say I try to vote for the lesser evil in every election.

I'll take Joe Manchin over Lindsay Graham any day of the week.    I'd offer a trade if there was a free agency portal.  I'll even sweeten the deal with a fog horn leg horn McMaster tossed in.

I'm not sure the American public will find agreements in politics but I think we can all agree that there are certain constitutional rights that should not be infringed on.  We know from history that when a developed nations government starts to censor media, disarm citizens and change your perceptions of what's right or wrong they rarely have the citizens best interest in mind.

Why does every conversation have to go back to politics?  I swear it seems like as soon as people..not just here...everywhere run out of facts to discuss or opinions on the topic it gets shifted to politics.  It is like a playground argument that just degrades into your momma insults.  Politics has risen to an unhealthy center of attention for way too many people.  It has almost taken on the persona of a religion.  That is sad. A little scary but mostly sad.  Growing up in the DC area it is always in our face.  On every news station, paper.. you name it.  There used to be a time when you went more that 250 miles away there was no mention of it unless a politician got caught doing something illegal and was arrested.  All these "facts" that get tossed out by both sides are potentially nothing more than propaganda.  Please consider that before you make any judgement calls.  When you consider how many "facts or truths" seem to disappear when a judge requires hard proof it should cause you to be a little cynical of what you hear online.

Getting back to the topic of twitter.  I really hope he causes it to implode.  I hope most all social media implodes.  I truly believe that when social scientists study this generation years from now they will point to the advent of social media as the root cause of a lot of the issues we are dealing with.  I am actually a fan of Elon.  Maybe not as a person but a fan of what he has accomplished.  There aren't many companies or people you can say that they actually changed or created an industry. I think he is doing that with electric.  Others will make it better, but he is pushing the evolution faster than it would on its own.  I would own a Tesla.  Not a truck though.  Those things are hideous. Ask yourself why would he want Twitter. It isn't about free speech.  That is going to cost him money not make it.  The EU is threatening to fine him and restrict its use if he doesn't abide by their hate speech rules.  They will.  Just ask Facebook who is paying tens of millions, Apple who has paid due to not playing nicely, Microsoft... i can go on.  Apple is threatening to pull twitter from the apple store.  Why?  They don't want to be included in a lawsuit when "not if" he gets sued and loses.  That will block the app from 60% of twitters userbase.  Not a great business move.

Why would he want twitter?  Data and AI.  His cars collect and assemble more data on people and our habits while behind the wheel than you can imagine.  They use AI to interpret what is going on and build algorithms that learn from input.  They get better the more they get fed.  The same with social media.  It feeds on you and your habits, learns and then spits back at you what it thinks you would be interested in.  When you combine the data from both companies it is going to be a game changer.  I hear Truth Social is starting up a Rinker thread.  Maybe this discussion should get moved there.
