Generator - Kohlor 5E

Just curious if anyone would know what to do for this problem... the other day I went to start the generator from down in the cabin area and when pushed the rocker switch it did not do anything.  (the battery is fine)  So I went down the start it at the control box that is on the generator it self.  The unit started fine.  

A few days latter I tried again in the cabin and the same.  So next I go to the generator control box but this time it also does not work at the rocker switch.  

Could I have a bad rocker switch?  (I just don't think that I would two bad rocker switches)

Is there an error message on the LCD screen? Maybe SCFO.

I have the same issue. I can't start from the cabin, but sometimes I'm able to shut it down from there. I'd love to find the pinout/wire colors that I could check continuity for. I think I'm seeing those pins in the diagram above though.
