@oscar1 I ordered the parts as per my post above. Now the 3 month wait for “winter” to pass…

Got everything wired up temporarily to test. Works great. Now to make up a battery bracket and custom cables.

@oscar1 I will charge the lithium bank with my existing ProNautic 1240p connected to the Victron Smart BMS 12/200. I will be running the charger on the GEL Preset 2 setting.

The Smart BMS 12/200 will also charge the lithium house bank with the alternator and solar.

I currently have 3 AGM Group 31s that are toast. They are about 5 years old so not unexpected.

Has anyone switched to a lithium house bank? If so, what are you running for batteries/charging?
I am planning to go with lithium battery for my house battery system. Do you have any recommendations for my project after you made your. thx

Great to see you back here @oscar1 - it’s been a while.

For what I need, my setup is perfect. It worked flawlessly last summer. I only ran the generator a handful of times for air conditioning at anchor.

Not knowing crap about batteries...you don't hear much in the news about fires or explosions with lead acid batteries bit always seem to hear on a regular basis someone's house catching fire with these- no concerns?

Not sure. My house is connected to the electrical grid, it doesn’t run on batteries.
