Just read that E15 gasoline will be available in the summer in the US. It is prohibited by law in the USA for use in marine engines.

Premium doesn’t usually have ethanol in it.

Majority of premium in our area has ethanol. For the price you would hope it would not have it.

A majority of ethanol free fuel in our area tests positive for ethanol.

Only way here to get non ethanol is buying AvGas (aviation gas). And you thought it sucks to put premium in the car, try filling a boat with AvGas  :#

I wonder what the methodology of the testing was? Watched a news report that showed since the majority of gas pumps used shared supply lines you have to clear the line back to to the junction before taking a sample. People were getting a lot of false-positives because they didn't do the testing correctly. When we go to Iowa there are a couple of Casey's that have pump islands with dedicated hoses for each fuel type so you can guarantee no cross-contamination.

Along with fuel islands, you need tankers dedicated to non ethanol.
